How to start multiple cloud phones and browser profiles in Multilogin
Starting multiple profiles lets you open several Android cloud phones or browser profiles at the same time in Multilogin.
➡️ To start them, go to “Profiles” → choose “Mobile” or “Browser” → select profiles with checkboxes → click “Start”
Use this when you need to move through a batch, like checking several social profiles, opening client accounts, testing web tasks, or running the same workflow across different platforms.
For social media work, think one cloud phone = one social profile:
- Use Android cloud phones for mobile apps like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
- Use browser profiles for web tasks like Reddit, YouTube web, dashboards, seller centers, CRMs, and automation
How to start multiple profiles
- Go to the “Profiles” section
- Choose “Browser” or “Mobile” in the left sidebar
- Select the profiles using checkboxes
- Click “Start” in the top menu
Each profile opens in its own window, fully separate from the others.

System performance tips
Starting many profiles at once can slow things down, so it’s better to open them in smaller groups.
- Start in batches: launch a few profiles first, then start more if everything runs well
- Use reliable proxies: one good proxy per profile works better than messy shared setups
- Keep pages simple: too many tabs, videos, or apps can slow profiles down
- Close profiles you’re done with: unused profiles still take resources
- Stop cloud phones when finished or set a timer: you spend paid mobile minutes while the phone is active
FAQs
Should I start cloud phones or browser profiles?
- Start cloud phones when the work happens in mobile apps like TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook
- Start browser profiles when the work happens on websites, dashboards, CRMs, seller centers, or browser automation tools
Can I start all profiles at once?
You can, but it’s better to start in smaller batches to avoid slowdowns.
Why are some profiles running slowly?
Could be due to proxies, high-resource actions, or too many tabs or apps. Try simplifying things and close unused profiles.
Can I log into the same platform across different profiles?
Yes. Use separate profiles for separate accounts:
- For mobile apps, use a cloud phone
- For websites, use a browser profile
Then keep the basics consistent: proxy location, timezone, language, and normal daily use should all make sense together.
